This is so cool: my painting, "A Tuscan Town" has been selected into KVIE's inaugural exhibit: The Fine Art of Public Television at the KVIE Gallery! Over 50 pieces were submitted and only 14 were chosen, so to say I'm honored is an understatement! Each of the 14 pieces of art in this show was inspired by a PBS program. My painting was inspired by Rick Steves' travel shows to Tuscany, Italy. There will be a free reception on April 13th from 5:30pm-8:00pm at KVIE (2030 W El Camino, Sacramento) when judges will announce the Best of Show - but for me, just to be nominated is a win!
The exhibit is also available for viewing from now through May 10th so do stop by to see it. In fact, mine is the first painting you'll see as you enter the gallery. You can also check out all of the artwork and event details on www.kvie.org/gallery.
